The National Academy of Civil Service (NACS) , formerly called the National Civil Service Institute (NCSI), was founded on July 26, 1999. It was formed under the supervision of the Civil Service Protection and Training Commission (CSPTC), responsible for various statutory recruitment efforts and training programs. It has been highly successful in this regard and received the 2008 HRD & Management Excellence Award from ARTDO International.
